OVERVIEW

As part of the expansion of the Pan London training programme for all road safety practitioners in London, modules are being piloted in various aspects of communications.

There are two modules (part one and part two), covering areas such as dealing with the media, presentation skills, community engagement and promotion.

The first part is intended for those who want to improve their presentation skills in terms of preparing and delivering presentations, speaking in public and how to deal with the media.

The second, from 3rd - 4th December 2008, is for those who are involved in the consultation process covering meetings, exhibitions, leaflets, letters and getting people involved with forums and groups. The second day will be focused more on the publicity aspect including the different methods of publicity and how to measure its effectiveness.
